Kendall: Preparing for the Communique
Preparing for the Communique
This does not feel like a Communique to me, given the amount of time and struggle involved, it feels like a protracted negotiation. But before it comes out remember:
(1) There will be elements of surprise
(2) There will be things that people from a number of perspectives will not like
(3) There will be some initial impressions given quickly which will be amiss.
Let's try to evaluate the whole as a whole and also bounce our reactions and responses off each other instead of off the wall--KSH.

I think we forgot that the book of Habakkuk is a part of Scripture. It hard to live out 3:17-19, yet that's what we're called to even if the Lord's plans make absolutely no sense to us at this perspective of history.
Sorry, but can anyone explain the photo on Gledhill's blogsite. It looks like the ABC is physically being blocked by a bodyguard from speaking to an African bishop. No caption is on the photo.
Pretty much all the sites are down so it's tough to figure out what's going on.
Does this mean it's over?
probably more like ++Williams was walking that way, and an African bishop/priest/person in a suit happened to be pointing or gesturing at something, and his hand happened to be across the ABC's chest. It's not all over, for anyone.
